Together, we can create a Warrenton for everyone!

I am running for town council because our town is at a crossroads, and strong leadership is needed to guide Warrenton into its next chapters. With your support, I will address the following crucial issues our town is facing:

  1. Affordability

The town is consistently falling short in earning back the money it is spending. The only solution that the current council has proposed is to raise your taxes. This is not the only viable option, and alternatively should be viewed as a last resort. We can incentivize filling the empty storefronts in town, use that commercial tax revenue to ease the burden on taxpayers, while still maintaining the character of our small town.

Both candidates for mayor are prioritizing affordability for our residents. I look forward to working with either of them on this ongoing issue so that living in the town limits is not viewed as an exclusive, financially out-of-reach prospect.

  2. Infrastructure

To be frank, our infrastructure is old, crumbling, and has been put on the backburner for decades. Our Water Treatment Facility, for example, is being held together by a patchwork of machinery, some of which dates back to World War II. None of us wants to consider what it would be like to have those systems fail. However, if we do not address this urgency now, we run the risk of having a water crisis that will set us back significantly, in ways we cannot afford.

  3. Transparency

I am a prosecutor by trade. Ethics and transparency are the most important parts of my job, and will continue to be as your town councilman. Our residents deserve to know exactly what goes into decisions made by your representatives, and I will make it my mission to ensure that every resident is well informed as to what goes into council’s decisions.
