Small town charm, big town issues

Our small town is a sought-after destination, and that should be celebrated. However, we are at risk of losing that distinction. In order to preserve Warrenton’s desirability, it has to appeal to the future generations. We love that people from neighboring counties come to shop and spend time here. Sometimes those travelers are not stopping at all. Our roads and resources are being used on their way home. We can work to incentivize living and working in town so that those resources are kept here. In order to do so, the current blockade on any growth whatsoever needs to be addressed to manage each opportunity on a case-by-case basis.

Serving and protecting our community is my passion

As a prosecutor for the past seven years, I have worked closely with law enforcement to protect the communities I serve. As a Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Prince William County and the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park, I work closely with adult and child victims of sexual and domestic violence. Seeking justice for these victims has been the most important work of my career. My husband, Andrew, and I as “The Real Housewives of Warrenton” have worked with various charitable organizations in town to help support the disadvantaged populations in Fauquier County. We have gathered over 650 pounds of food to donate, in addition to coordinating a volunteer day for planting vegetables at the Fauquier Education Farm, all for the benefit of the Fauquier Food Bank. We have worked with Fauquier United to Support Education (FUSE) on a successful back-to-school supply drive benefitting the students of Fauquier County. We have also raised funds benefitting Family Shelter Services and the unhoused populations of Fauquier County.
